The Family Medicine Center Pharmacy team hosted a special event this afternoon [Saturday, October 19, 2024] in support of Sean Cargill Jr’s breast cancer awareness initiative. Sean is a 6th-grade student of St. Cecilia’s Catholic Primary School and he has made it his mission to bring awareness and raise funds for breast cancer by selling wristbands.
The bands cost $2 and all proceeds are donated to The Cancer Society of The Bahamas. It was a fun and encouraging time doing something positive in the fight against breast cancer. Cheers to young Sean for making a difference.
Bands can be purchased at FMC Pharmacy throughout October while supplies last.
