FMC Supports Ride For Hope
Ride For Hope – now a twelve year old bike/run/walk-a- thon is held in Eleuthera every spring. The event includes a weekend full of events, live music, great camaraderie and impeccable weather.
Ride for Hope Bahamas exists to build hope and resources for Bahamians who are fighting cancer, to expand access to early diagnostic imaging and consultation, and to reframe treatment financial assistance nationally. Without exception, every dollar raised by participants is applied to programme support.
Dr. Graham Cates and his wife, Nurse Anita Cates were at the event again this year, providing medical support to the participants.
