Doctors Discuss Reasons For High Prevalence of Diabetes in The Bahamas
Highlighting the prevalence of diabetes in The Bahamas and the poor diet choices some Bahamians make, Drs. Ariane Davis-Simmons and Janette Martin, of Doctors Hospital, said many diabetics suffer from “portion distortion”.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month at FMC
During Breast Cancer Awareness Month – October – Family Medicine Center hosted its annual “Check Ya Bubbies” 3D mammography special – which ended the month with one happy raffle winner. Mitzie Chipman-Neely was presented with $200 in gift certificates to Latitudes or any Titan Hospitality restaurant.
