Family Physician
Dr. Yvette Thimothee-Turner obtained her medical education at The University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica and has been practicing general medicine in and around the Bahamas for almost 14 years.
She has worked in the public sphere namely at the Princess Margaret Hospital in the Internal Medicine Department as well as The Accident & Emergency Department. She has also worked in the Department of Public Health/ Ministry of Health providing professional and quality health care to various clinics in the Family Islands namely Central Eleuthera, Central Andros, Exuma and Abaco.
Dr. Thimothee has been in private practice for the past three years, having worked at Bahamas Wellness in Nassau, Central and North Eleuthera. She is now currently employed at Family Medicine Center in Rock Sound, Eleuthera.
Dr. Thimothee is passionate about health education and strives to improve and raise the health consciousness of residents in the islands of the Bahamas.
